Grand old Hollywood Hotels

A glamourous place to to get yourself wed

Or laze around by the pool

As you dream of glory in a canopied bed

You’ve become a sort of ghoul

Indoor pool

Hollywood stories thrive in this place

These legends never die

Though some disappeared without a trace

You still can hear them cry

What tales these guilded walls could tell

Of a golden era long gone

It seems everyone has a story to sell

Sometimes sold for a song

You want to bathe in fortune and fame

Of celluloid lives on screen

But really what is there in just a name?

Did they actually live the dream?

Marylin at The Roosevelt

Your Hollywood Hotel provides respite

It’s a great place to be seen

Take out your notebook and make things right

When you  create the next scene.
